Fusing, blowing, electroplating and casting glass
I started fusing glass in 1997 after a workshop with Dan Fenton in Las Vegas Nevada. The platter and bowl below are made in 1997 with spectrum waterglass, after I tested the glass for compatibility. In 2006 I entered the glass program at The Ohio State University and learned to blow glass as part of their curriculum. I experimented with flowers and stick figures that I would make in my torch at home and included them in my paperweights and vessels. The face is a sand cast of my own face, and the "green" sculpture is made from recycled beer bottles
